English Student Association Holds Charity and Study Club at Taqwa Al Qalbi Orphanage

ESA UNISMA English Student Association realised the Charity and Study Club work programme. By deploying students to help orphans.

The activity of the Entrepreneurship and Academic Affair Division, themed: "Wonderfull of Ramadhan Kareem With ESA 2023". It took place at Taqwa Al Qalbi Tlogomas Orphanage, Malang, Saturday (15/4/2023).

The activity was packaged simply. Namely learning together, presenting the speaker Dzuhrana Mafaza, an English Education student class of 2020.

Learning with Dzuhrana Mafaza, packed with fun. Learn about the wisdom of fasting, how to achieve lailatul qadar and things related to the month of Ramadan.

Before learning together and giving donations to orphanage children began, the caregiver of the Taqwa Al Qalbi Orphanage provided motivation. To students of the Islamic University of Malang, English Language Education Study Programme.

"Students today must be more careful. Malang is not a city of santri. It is a free city. You can see, you can touch and you can use," he said.

Based on the reality of student life today, he added, it is very free. Many boarding houses are free. They can see, hold and worse do things that are not good.

"Be like a fish in the sea. Even though the water is salty, the fish can drink and survive, even in salty water," he explained.

Therefore, he said, students today must be able to choose in their daily relationships.

"Hang out with anyone. As long as you don't follow what is not right. Even though the environment is free."

"By increasing piety, holding fast to the Quran and As-sunnah, we will not be carried away. Like a fish that lives in salt water, it is able to separate salt from the sea water it drinks," he concluded.
